Quote acceptance terms

Version 2026-07-11.2

These terms cover acceptance of a RebateSignal installer quote snapshot. They do not remove rights available under Australian Consumer Law or applicable Victorian law.

Canonical acceptance statements

What acceptance means

  1. This quote is an indicative offer from the named installer, not a government rebate approval.
  2. Eligibility, certificate creation and final rebate value remain subject to current program rules, approved products, installation evidence and accredited-person validation.
  3. The customer confirms the supplied property and existing-equipment information is accurate and authorises the installer to proceed with the described scope, subject to applicable cooling-off and cancellation rights.
  4. Acceptance locks this quote snapshot. Any material scope, product, eligibility or price change requires a new quote.

Price and rebate credit

The customer portal separates the installation price, additional fees and installer rebate credit. The payable total is calculated from those displayed amounts. A rebate credit offered by the installer does not itself prove government or certificate-program approval.

Expiry and changes

The quote cannot be accepted after its displayed expiry date. The installer must issue a new quote when equipment, installation scope, eligibility information or price materially changes.

Electronic acceptance

The customer’s typed name, acceptance choice, response time, terms version and quote calculation fingerprint are retained with the immutable quote history. Browser details are stored only as a one-way SHA-256 fingerprint, not as the raw user-agent string.

Privacy and evidence

Customer documents and installation evidence are private and served through authenticated or high-entropy tokenised access. Customers should not forward their private quote link. Contact the installer to revoke and replace a link believed to be exposed.

Questions or cancellation

Contact the installer named on the quote for scope, cancellation, cooling-off, warranty and complaint handling. RebateSignal does not replace the installer’s legal and program obligations.
